Acts in Unity is a faith-based nonprofit in Carolina Beach, NC that exists to LOVE people where they are, EMPOWER them through authentic community and IGNITE faith, purpose and hope for the future.
We Walk alongside widows, youth transitioning out of foster care and individuals experiencing isolation or loneliness by providing practical assistance, emotional encouragement, spiritual support and help in meeting basic needs through community-centered outreach.

Our Heart
Throughout scripture we are called to love others. It is not a suggestion, it is a command.
Inspired by the early church in the Book of Acts, we learned about our calling to unite and act.
The first believers worshiped together, shared life together, cared for one another and gave generously so that no one was without. Acts in Unity seeks to continue this spirit by building a community where people are seen, valued, supported and inspired.

How this journey began
What began as a quiet prompting and vision from God in December 2021 has unfolded into something far greater than we could have imagined.
As our relationship with the Lord deepened, He placed a calling on our hearts to care for widows, orphans, and those who often go unseen — the isolated, the lonely walking through difficult seasons.
In 2024, God led us to walk alongside individuals facing hardship: a newly widowed neighbor and individuals spending Christmas alone. What began with simple gifts soon led to lasting relationships, prayer, practical help and a reminder that we are all deeply loved by God and never truly alone.
In 2026, the nudging to establish a nonprofit could not be ignored. The word TRUST and the importance connected to it was strong along the journey in 2024, as we began to walk with others. Soon it was revealed that people know nonprofits are established to help others - which is often more trustworthy than a stranger who says they want to help. Along with this was the importance of UNITY! Unifying to walk and meet needs - together! Churches, businesses, neighbors, friends, etc.

Our vision is to cultivate a thriving faith-based residential community where widows, youth transitioning out of foster care and those facing isolation can:

We are in the very early stages of the ultimate vision of a campus style community — the future we believe God is calling us to, step by faithful step.
